Hominy Feed
Hominy feed is the co-product of corn dry-milling operations, consisting of a mixture of corn bran, corn germ, and starchy endosperm fragments recovered when corn is processed for grits, meal, or flour. It is a highly digestible, energy-dense ingredient valued in livestock and poultry feed formulations for its favourable combination of fat (from the germ), starch (from the endosperm), and fibre (from the bran).
